A Future Babysitter

Natasha and Alex came to visit and make brunch for my parents, my mamuma and me. That food was YUMMY -- Natasha can cook! Plus, she said she would babysit me when I get bigger. Yup, I won her over. : )

My First Trip to Whole Foods

Went to the store for the first time with my parents and my mamuma. I slept in a warm sling next to my daddy.

My First Dinner Out

My parents, my mamuma and I went out for my first dinner after picking my mamuma up from the airport. We went to Charles Plaza, my mamuma's favorite Chinese place. Thanks, Charles, for feeding my parents, especially my mama, good food! YUM!

My Mamuma

My Mamuma (my mama's mommy) is here for a visit!

More Funny Faces

This is a face I often make at my mama after nursing.

My First Walk in the Neighborhood

My parents took me and the dogs on a walk around the neighborhood today. It was beautiful out -- blue sky, sunny, cool but not cold. My mama wore me in a warm sling.

My Battle With Clothes

Between my little body and my big diaper cover, it's hard for to find clothes that fit, especially in the legs. I wear clothes anyway, though. Here are some of my new outfits:

My daddy liked the monkey feet on this one.

And the little dog socks with this one.

At least these socks fit... : )

Random

Hey, what's that?

Ooo, I want it...

Pacified

My parents broke down and got a pacifier yesterday. I'm not convinced they call them pacifiers b/c they pacify the babies. I think they also pacify the adults in the situation. I know my mama is happy to have me sucking myself to sleep on a pacifier in the middle of the night after I'm through nursing. I think we both slept better and more too. Yay.

(Check out these great Natursutten pacifiers! -- free of BPA, phthalates, PVC and artificial coloring; made in one piece for greater cleanliness and less bacteria; simulates nursing more; is softer for baby's face and is made of sustainable, natural rubber)

I admit, though, my pacifier does look big, doesn't it?

And I'm always knocking it out of my mouth b/c my hands like to be around near my face. Here's me grabbing my pacifier with my death grip.

COMMENT UPDATE -- WORKING!

Ok, people. The comments should be working for most or all of you now. The settings were off. Hopefully I start hearing from more of you now, especially those of you who have diligently been trying! As Lala said, if it doesn't work the first time, click it again -- persistence may be the key.
I certainly thank you for your patience. : )

My First Visit to the Pediatrician

Guess what! It could be a difference in scales, but I gained another ounce and a half since yesterday. I weighed in at 5 lb 15.5 oz. I'm getting there. I also grew one inch and my head is a quarter inch larger. I'm Growing!!!

Hip Hip Hooray!

Lately, I'm liking this as my new sleeping position. I think it may mean that I'm thrilled about being a rested, regular, well fed chubbykins, but I'm not sure.

Little Elf

I'm a Fatty Lumpkin!

Well, not exactly, but I gained weight! (This is Meredith weighing me.)
I'm now a whopping 5 pounds and 14 ounces. I'm almost back to my birth weight--just two more ounces! My parents are SO happy!!!

Visit from Aunt Pin and Anita Auntie

My mama's two bestest friends from her youth came to see me today. I loved visiting with them, but it was sadly a short visit. I hope to see them again...

I heard a lot of you were having trouble posting comments. My mama tried fixing it. If you couldn't post before, can you try again so we can see if it's working now? If you haven't commented yet, please do! I really love hearing from people.

My First Skype Session

I skyped for the first time today so I could see and talk to my Grandpa Uttama and my Abuelita in Los Angeles. It was fun talking to you Grandpa and Abuelita! (Sorry I was eating most of the time. I'm usually hungry when I wake up.)

Sleepy Faces

My mama is always trying to catch me making my faces, but these were all she got.

This last one is almost my classic eyebrow raise.
