My First Pumpkin Carving

Auntie Kelly came to help me. I had such a great time with Auntie Tasha, Uncle Alex and Auntie Kelly. I told Auntie Kelly what I wanted the face to look like. The lit candle reminded me of another candle moment I have experienced...

Holdooo

Now I say "Hold me," but I do like to ba carried. Lately, I am liking the frame backpack carrier. We took this to Maine with Mamamma and Poppa. I don't need to go anywhere, I just insist somewhere wear me in it. Usually I just end up watching someone cook. This is me watching mama make dosas--my favorite!

Bike Riding, Photo Taking and Flower Picking

Got to go out on a walk between rains we've been having. (Good for the garden, hard for me!) I started out, wanting to run down to the fishies all the way just like the other day with mama, but then I realized I wanted my bike. My "tiny, tiny, red one." So we went home, and I rolled my red bike on out the door. Literally--it was so fun! I did want mama to hold my hand, though. Then I went down the sidewalk and across the street and easily up over the curb that was so hard last week. We rode along, me enjoying trying out new things on my bike. All of a sudden, I wanted to take some photos. I am definitely getting better at finding my subject in the view (see below). Got all the way to the fishies, jumped about for a bit. Then it started spitting rain, but turned out it wasn't raining. I ended up picking flowers. All of them. Each. and. Every. One. So many. I made a little flower song, a little flower picking song. It was glorious. An hour of flower picking, all to myself. And mama didn't rush me, or make me go in or move on or anything. Good times....and the whole time there was also the excitement of the trucks and hoses from the water line work someone was doing on the road. What an adventure!

Ants on a Log

My mama says I have a unique way of eating ants on a log -- raisins first, of course.

Butter Thief

My mama caught me with this. She laughed and laughed. But she told me I needed to get a bowl because it was slipping through my fingers. Then she got my daddy and they laughed together. They called me Butter Thief.

Friend Maeli's House

I had way more fun that I can say right now. It was a great way to end the day with the whole family.

Bean Bin Revised

A few months ago my mama changed the bean bin. She wanted to make it bigger and add things. I helped. She didn't know just how much yet, but I love unfolding and folding things. I spent a long time straightening out the blanket. Eventually we got to the beans. I didn't really play with them like you might think for a while. You see me here throwing them and swishing them around to make a sound. It was fun, and I have since learned how not to make such a mess. Months later, I still play with my bean bin, but now it has beautiful beads in it that I can sort.

Dangerous Pleasures

I like to take the train. I ask almost every day to go to the train station. The other day, my mama decided to look up somewhere to go with a place to play and a place to eat. We went to Lansdale, went to a park and ate at Arnold's Way. The details, though, are that the playground we went to had old style equipment that isn't around much anymore. I had a great thrill and showed much bravery! The walk to the park from the train station took so long, however, that I fell asleep in the backpack. I slept a little while daddy and mama ate lunch together. We all took the train back home. It was the best adventure!
