The Routine Continues
Mixed results last night. I did sleep almost seven hours, but the I woke up every hour or less from six to nine, slept an hour and a half and then my mama decided to start the day. Unfortunately for her, I usually take a big nap after she decides that kind of thing. Tomorrow is another day.

Uma Elf
If I were an elf and could dance, this is what I'd be like. Check it out! (
The link is only good till January 15 -- so, you know, this once in a lifetime offer will be gone soon. Get it while you can!
The Routine
Well, the routine didn't work so well last night. I slept four hours, nursed and went to sleep in twenty minutes and slept another four hours. The next nurse/potty session took over an hour. I slept for only one hour and woke up congested. Ugh. My parents will keep doing this routine with me, I know, but we all hoped it would work better every day. I went all day with no gas, but it seemed like it woke me up at night--not with pain, just to pass it. We'll just have to keep trying the routine and see how things go. I do love bath time. : )

Happy Baby
Last night, my parents tried starting a new bedtime routine--a warm bath, some warm clothes, a tight swaddle, and a good nurse while my mama read a chapter of Winnie the Pooh. I slept seven long hours! My mama especially was happy since, after sleeping six hours regularly up until two weeks ago, I have been sleeping three or four hours. I woke up super happy. When my mama went to potty me I was smiling away and chatting it up. Maybe the extra sleep made me a happy baby? Whatever it is, we all hope this routine keeps working.
Weather-proofed
Aunties Holly and Jackie and Uncles Travis and Neil got me so much useful stuff!!! Here is one that came in handy recently when it was pouring rain. This car seat cover kept me so warm and dry.
THANKS FOR THE HELP!

Three Generations
My mama wanted to take a picture with the three of us -- my mama, my mamuma and me -- three generations! There is another picture in our house with my mamuma, my mama and my mamuma's mama. I wish my great-grandmother was alive to see me. She would have been overjoyed, if I do say so myself. Then we could have had four generations. (You will see four generations later in the winter, though, when my daddy's grandma comes for a visit.) As it is, I was so happy to have these three together.

My Training Pants
Don't know if I mentioned them before, but I have training pants that are like underwear. They are good for EC because they aren't as absorbent so you can know more quickly when there is "action in the pants" as my daddy likes to say. My mama tried to put the EcoNix on me when I was a week or two old thinking that they looked so tiny. They were HUGE! Really, I was just small. Now, though, they are starting to fit better. I could still have a bit more of a waistline so they fit more tightly--as they are now my butt crack peeks out every now and again--but they sure do look cute!
Thanks, Marija, at EC Wear! (She is super nice and super helpful.) Check out the website for lots of cool diapers, clothes and EC information!
Sad Farewell
My mama and I are sad because the family left. Ajitmam and Janine Auntie are gone. My Mamuma and Poppa are gone. It's just me and my parents in the house now. Seems quiet and boring...and kinda lonely. The next time I see them I'll be so different--bigger and smarter. I wish they were here to watch me grow. I miss you Ajitmam and Janine Auntie! I miss you Mamuma! I miss you Poppa! I LOVE YOU!!!
